Parents

Based on research conducted by Gary Railsback* approximately 30 to 50 percent of Christian students abandoned their faith prior to graduating. In other words, close to one of two students are persuaded to change their minds concerning Christ and the church.

In light of the prevailing anti-supernatural culture on college campuses, Apologetics Boot Camp (ABC) was created to prepare students for higher learning.

The objective is to inoculate students against the anti-Christian teachings found on many campuses.

Dear Parent, we realize that you genuinely love your child. It is also your desire to raise them in the admonition of the Lord. We share your goal of wanting the best for your youth.

As Christian parents we pray that our child would follow God’s statutes outside of our presence. When we send them off to school (elementary, high school & college) we pray that our years of training has taken root.

According to various reports (e.g. Gary Railsback) many of our youth are being coerced and indoctrinated to abandon their Christian tenets while at school. This is the reason why we begin the Apologetics Bootcamp.

It is our goal for all Christian students (high school through college) to sign up for the Apologetics Boot Camp (ABC). This camp will inform them about the various anti-God worldviews (e.g. atheism, skepticism, naturalism, scientist…etc.) that exists on college campuses. It is also our aim to help our youth defend their Christian faith when attacked (1 Peter 3:15).  There is also a parent track designed to equip parents so they can assist their student in defending their faith.

Please note that this workshop is not intended to supplant your teachings as a parent. It is also not our intentions to minimize local church teachings. We are here as partners in the ministry who are working together as a community in order to adequately prepare our youth for the battle that awaits them at school (private and public).

We ask for your prayers and support as we attempt to please our Lord by serving His precious children.
